GOD IS YOUR SAFE PLACE: 46:1

GOD IS YOUR SAFE PLACE: 46:1

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1

There are seasons when life feels steady and then there are other seasons where everything seems uncertain.

Plans can change, news feels heavy or relationships become difficult. We carry worries that no one else can see.

In those moments, it helps to remember where our security comes from.

This verse says God is our refuge.

A refuge is a safe place where you can rest. It’s somewhere you can stop pretending that everything is okay.

God never asks us to carry life alone.

He welcomes us with open arms.

He is present when life feels calm.

He is present when life feels overwhelming.

Nothing catches Him by surprise.

If today feels difficult, you do not have to face it alone.

Run to the One who remains steady when everything else feels uncertain.

Prayer: God, thank You for being my safe place. Help me remember that I can always find refuge in You. Amen.
