“He is not here. He has risen, just as He said.” Matthew 28:6
Easter Sunday carries a sense of celebration. There is joy, relief, and a renewed focus on hope. Churches are full. Messages are shared. The resurrection feels close and powerful.
Then Monday comes.
But the resurrection was never meant to stay in one moment.
When the angel spoke these words, he was not announcing a temporary change. He was declaring something permanent. Jesus has risen. Not just for a day, but for all time.
That changes what comes next.
It means hope is not limited to special occasions. It means grace is not something we revisit once a year. It means we do not step back into life the same way we were before.
The same power that raised Jesus is still at work. Not always in ways we can see, but in the quiet places where real change happens.
It shows up in the way you begin again after a hard day. In the way you choose patience when you feel stretched. In the way you hold onto truth when your thoughts feel unsettled.
Resurrection life is often quiet. It does not always look dramatic. It looks like steady faith in ordinary moments.
Easter does not end when the weekend is over. It continues in the way we live, the way we trust, and the way we move forward.
If today feels like a return to routine, let this verse remind you. Something has changed. Jesus is risen. That truth is still active, still present, still shaping your life right now.
You are not stepping back into the same life. You are walking forward in the light of what He has done.
Prayer: Jesus, help me carry the truth of the resurrection into this week. Teach me to live with steady faith, even in ordinary moments. Amen.
