HELD BY HIS LOVE: Romans 8:38-39

HELD BY HIS LOVE: Romans 8:38-39

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39

There are days when we feel close to God and then there are other days when faith feels quieter.

Days when prayers feel unanswered. Days when life feels heavy. Days when we wonder if God sees what we are carrying.

This verse reminds us of something that does not change and God’s love is constant.

Paul lists everything he can think of. Life. Death. The present. The future. The things we fear. The things we do not understand. Then he makes a bold statement:

None of it can separate us from God’s love.

That means God’s love is not based on how well your week is going. It is not based on how productive you have been. It is not based on whether you feel strong in your faith today.

His love remains.

We live in a world where many things feel uncertain. Relationships change. Circumstances change. Plans change.

But God’s love does not.

When life feels unstable, this truth becomes an anchor.

You are loved on your best days.

You are loved on your hardest days.

You are loved when faith feels easy.

You are loved when faith feels difficult.

Nothing can change that.

As June comes to an end, let this be the truth you carry into the next half of the year.

You are held by a love that does not let go.

Prayer: God, thank You for Your constant love. Help me rest in the truth that nothing can separate me from You. Amen.
