LET GOD CARRY TOMORROW: Matthew 6:34

LET GOD CARRY TOMORROW: Matthew 6:34

ā€œTherefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.ā€ Matthew 6:34

Our minds are often somewhere else.

While today is happening, we are already thinking about tomorrow. The next appointment. The next bill. The next conversation. The next thing that might go wrong.

Worry has a way of pulling us away from the present, but Jesus gently brings us back.

He reminds us that today already holds enough to think about. We do not need to carry tomorrow before it arrives.

That does not mean planning is wrong. It means worrying does not add anything to our lives.

God’s grace arrives one day at a time.

He gives us what we need for today. Tomorrow’s grace will come tomorrow.

When we live too far ahead, we can miss the ways God is already providing in the present.

This week, notice when your thoughts begin running ahead.

Take a breath and bring yourself back to today.

God is already here.

Prayer: Father, help me trust You with tomorrow. Give me peace to live fully in today. Amen.
