āSee, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up. Do you not perceive it?āĀ
Isaiah 43:19Ā
There is something hopeful about the start of a new season. Winter begins to lift. The days slowly grow longer. Trees start to change. New life appears in places that looked still only weeks before.
It is a quiet reminder that change can be happening long before we notice it.
God says something similar in Isaiah. āSee, I am doing a new thing.ā Sometimes we expect Godās work to be obvious. We want a clear answer, a big sign, or a sudden change that shows us everything is moving forward. But new things often begin small. A new thought. A different choice. A prayer you finally feel ready to pray. A door beginning to open. A habit slowly changing.
At first, it may not look like much. Spring does not arrive in one moment. It grows. The same can be true in our lives. God may already be working in places that still feel unfinished. He may be growing something in you that you cannot fully see yet.
This verse asks a simple question. Do you notice it?
This week, pay attention to the small signs of growth. Notice where your heart feels lighter. Where your faith feels stronger. Where something that once felt impossible is beginning to change.
You do not need to force the new season. God is already at work.Ā
Prayer: God, help me notice the new things You are growing in my life. Give me patience to trust Your work, even when it begins small. Amen.
