āBut those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint.ā
Isaiah 40:31
There are seasons when life feels heavier than usual.
The excitement of a new year has faded. The days feel shorter. The routine feels longer. You may be carrying responsibilities that no one else sees.
Weariness has a way of sneaking in slowly.
This verse reminds us that strength is not something we manufacture ourselves. God never asks us to power through life on our own.
Instead, He invites us to place our hope in Him.
Notice that the verse does not promise an easier path. It promises renewed strength. God meets us in our weakness and provides what we need for the next step.
Sometimes faith looks less like soaring and more like walking. Showing up. Continuing. Trusting God in ordinary moments.
This week, if you feel tired, let yourself return to the source of your strength. God is not asking you to carry everything alone.
He is inviting you to lean on Him.
Prayer: God, renew my strength this week. Help me place my hope in You when I feel weary. Amen.
