“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.” Psalm 127:3
Motherhood can sometimes feel overwhelming.
The responsibility is constant. The decisions feel important. The weight of wanting to do it well can sit quietly in the background.
This verse shifts our perspective.
Children are not just a responsibility. They are a gift. Entrusted to you by God.
That does not mean you will always feel confident. It does not mean you will always get it right.
But it does mean you have been trusted with something meaningful.
God did not choose you by accident. He sees you, knows you, and has placed you in this role with purpose.
You do not have to be perfect to be a good mother.
You simply need to show up with love, care, and a willingness to grow.
God is present in your motherhood, guiding you as you go.
Prayer: God, help me see motherhood as a gift, even on the hard days. Remind me that You are with me in this role. Amen.

A word in season. It’s easy to feel inadequate but thank you for the encouragement and reminder that God chose us to be the mother our children have.
